The Emmerich Godzilla movie had the monster dodging a boatload of small arms, machine gun, and light cannon fire. Somehow.

I can understand shots bouncing off. I can even (theoretically) accept it being so resilient as to resist depleted uranium tank rounds and anti-tank missiles.

But dodging them? No.

It wasn't dodging bullets. If it was "The One", then when it was ready, it wouldn't need to.

meh. Too wordy, too complicated, too much talking, too much Deus ex Machina at the end... and not enough tanks and helicopters vs. dragonish critters....
