D&D 5E (2024) Teos talks about using the hero’s of the Borderlands Starter Box to run games.

Hey! Mastering dungeons is hosting Justice the writer on the box set! They are asking for questions.

Any questions?

With this having a version of Spell Cards, will we be seeing a WotC-made (or a Licensed, for that matter) 2024-version of the (previously GF9) Spell Cards? Will they take the form of three sets (Arcane, Divine, Primal) to avoid the sales pitfalls of the previous version (some sold much better than others)?

Ditto on an Equipment pack, Magic Items, and Monsters?

One thing I've always thought would be good, is to do Monster Cards, Monster Icon Chips, and Battle Maps, packaged as specific encounters from existing adventures. Any plans for anything like that?

My favorite B series module based on text/reviews is B10: Night's Dark Terror. I wonder if that would adapt well to modern play. If anybody actually ever played in that one I'd be interested in how it actually played out.

My understanding is that the higher number modules in any series tended to sell less and see less play, as a rule, which is why TSR eventually stopped the numbering system.

It would be awesome if supplemental material like this was compatible with the stuff in this box! Could be a way to transition to higher levels too.

Any plans for expansions, either in player options, or DM options like additional adventures?

Any other boxed sets planned, like a new Isle of Dread?

And will they be carrying forward this approach to onboarding new players to the rest of the game in any fashion?

"Any plans for future classic adventure updayes?"

Do they plan on eventually releasing a standalone book with just the adventure and maps for those of us who don’t need the whole boxed set (as opposed to the DDB version)?

FYI I’ve posted these in the Mastering Dungeons Discord. Y’all should join us.
