Terrible news about PIRATECAT's story hour!

What?

What's that you say?

Your story hour is all caught up at the moment and there won't be another update until your group plays again? And you say Sagiro's story is caught up, too?

HOW IN THE WORLD WILL WE PASS THE TIME!?!?!

Hmmm... Perhaps this is a good time to check out another story hour...

Perhaps if there were another story, say perhaps an easy, pulpy read with two-fisted kick-in-the door action, gritty attitude, and humorous dialogue...

And if it featured an aloof and elitist elven wizard, a sniveling untrustworthy halfling, a naive human barbarian, a rancorous dwarven fighter-rogue, and other iconic characters...

And what if that story hour was collected all in one place at the front of the thread, so folks could read it from beginning to end without missing any of the backstory...

Oh, sweet lord, wouldn't that be GREAT!?

WHERE O WHERE CAN WE FIND SUCH A STORY?

By the way, if you ARE enticed by this thread to check out my story for the first time, be sure to drop me a note, either here or in the story hour thread itself.

If I get even one new reader out of my shameless webspinning here, it will make my day.

I should mention that the story chronicles the Wizards "Adventure Path" series.

If you've played them before, you will find some new and different things in the story, thanks to our evil and inventive DM.

If you haven't played them before, but you'd like to get a feel for what they are like, they're just as good!

There is no way your cheap ploy will get me to read your story hour, Wulf! Why I've never heard of such an underhanded...eh...what's this?

It looks like I've opened your story hour up in another window. How'd that happen?

Oh well. I'm not a new reader, anyway.

Actually...

I was just thinking the other day about taking a closer look at the Adventure Path series as a sort of template or guide by which I might measure the pacing of some Questus Adventures I am developing. I really haven't had the time in the past to follow any of the Story Hours regularly, but this is certainly as good an excuse as any.

All right, Mr. Ratbane. I'll give it a try... :D

You got me. Iwill now add you to the list of Sagiro, PCat, DoDB Chronicles, Fung Shui, Drunk Southern Girls with Guns, etc that I wait anxiously for updates for.

If it's no gud, I will be looking for you at GenCon to extract revenge.

Excellent!

The writing style is a little unsteady in the very beginning. I was just taking my first baby steps into the Story Hour forum at the time...

It gets better, I think, very rapidly. It's been over a year now so I've had some time to find a style that suits me.
