No one was happy with the way the page backgrounds turned out.

I've also got a .pdf Testament adventure in development. I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with.

Hey Scott Bennie,

You rule. Thanks for a great game supplement. Any stories about the development (of TESTAMENT or your new adventure) that you could tell to whet my appetite? ;)

Minor things I've done in my Middle East campaign:
* decided that the "Crocodiles of the Four Directions" from Egyptian myth are in fact dragons
* decided that the legend about Gilgamesh finding the plant of immortality on the bottom of the sea, only to have it eaten by a snake, refers to the immortal nature of dragons... the "snake" ate the plant and thus all dragons since then have been immortal...
* decided that many of the "gods" are in fact deified dead people from long ago (like some people have suggested was the case with Osiris, Isis, Set and so on) who have ascended to godhood through some mystic process... and the same applies to Alexander the Great and a few other more recent individuals

Of course, I'm glad you kept the basic book of TESTAMENT so close to scripture (Jewish and otherwise), leaving me room to go off and make ridiculous conjectures like this on my own. ;)

Anyway, I can't wait to see more TESTAMENT stuff. And I'm going to buy ETERNAL ROME too -- I understand you have an adventure in it?

The adventure has the working title "Scourge from the Sea". It'll be a PDF title. "Scourge" features the Amorites and Egyptians joining forces (despite serious historical and cultural differences) with the burgeoning nation of Israel when the Sea Peoples invade. It'll include angry prophets, desperate military garrisons, rabble-rousers, a very dark cult, a city of Nephilim, insane locust-eaters, and a potentially apocalyptic ending.

Not sure when or where it'll be out - this'll be my first venture into online publication, so it's going to involve several steep learning curves.

Thanks! It sounds awesome -- I promise to buy it!
