Text Stat Blocks?

Has anyone devised a text (ascii) only format for character (and monster) stats? Last version of stat blocks for 3.5 were pretty awesome, and mostly txt friendly.

I'd like a simple way of sending and posting character stats in emails, blogs, etc.

or, what do you guys do?
