[Hijinks]

I was hopeful at the sight of a new series that I hadn't watched before. So, when they were showing the previous season again, I tried to watch it so I could pick up with the new season.

Unfortunately, it's way too much (for me) like Steven Spielberg's "Taken." Drags on and on and bloody on, and I felt like nothing got resolved. I started to watch the new season then .. meh.

Also it didn't help that I REALLY don't like the little girl in the commercial. She's fine on the show, she doesn't bug me, but on that day that I was watching the repeat of last season back to back, they must have showed the commercials for the new season during every single commercial break, and I got really sick of seeing her face really close up with her saying, over and over and bloody over, "I know what's going to happen .. do YOU?!?" It just got horribly annoying. They really overdid the commercials, imho. It turned me off.

I, too, am rather fond of this series. I particularly liked Maia's prediction from the end of the recent season premier. That was nicely ominous.
