The 4th IR, Thread 2

Unther falls to Daugothoth, then the Akanal, then Chondath, then Sespech, then Turmish, then the Giant Plains west of Turmish, then all of the Vilhon Reach. The whole of the southern Sea of Fallen Stars is now in Forsaken One's hands.

"How could a handful of dusty old dinosaur bones defeat my massive PL? Half the population of Faerûn were my slaves, utterly loyal unto the death. I must assume that the entire population of the areas conquered by The Cult of the Dragon is completely wiped out since every one of my people there would have fought to the death rather than submit to a foreign power. Either that or the domination magics of the books were already dispelled when they attacked, and the other reports do not indicate that."

Serpenteye: Calimshan, Tethyr, and Amn all fall to the Meritocracy.

Of them only Tethyr is a new aquisition. Calimshan and Amn have been mine for some time.

The sudden invasions send chockwawes troughout Confederation society as they realise that despite their great power they are not as invulnerable as they might have believed. As a result, after the initial panic dies down, the resources of the population are channelled into increasing the pace of reorganization within the Meritocracy military, burocracy and economy. Not one individual out of the millions of inhabitants of the Meritocracy is idle even a second longer than necessaary to maintain life and health. They work, work, work to increase their collective strength and security.
