At the start of Raiders, it tells you its like 1936, They say someplace in Temple its 1935. Not sure if those dates are right. But its something like that.

I believe the dates are the following:

Raiders: South America, 1936.
ToD: Shanghai, 1935.
Crusade: 1912, then 1938.

at least they didn't remake RotLA

like the South Park episode parody (for those who missed it had ewoks in it). Temple of Doom is okay, a B movie at best. (As for episode 1, I rated C+.) Crusaders is my favorite, mostly because I've seen it the most. RotLA I can't remember the last time I watched the thing from start to finish.

It think that is mostly because it came out when I was really young (I born very shortly before it was released) and it's not like Star Wars where I had to watch it. :p

In any case, the set sounds great.

To keep it consistent ;) ...

Raiders: South America, 1936.
ToD: Shanghai, 1935.
Crusade: Utah 1912; Somewhere off the Portuguese Coast 1938.

I liked the lighter element of Last Crusade, but at the same time hated the way they bastardized Sallah and Brody - a common sentiment from what I understand. Of course, I'd seen Raiders three times before I saw Last Crusade, which as I understand it is rather unusual for someone my age (23). So I basically have a love-hate relationship with Last Crusade.

Temple of Doom ranks lowest with me - though less so now than it did when I first saw it. The adventure is excellent, but the kid and especially the woman from ToD really grate on me, even to this day, and that brings the movie down in my eyes.

I was pretty sure it was Utah for 1912, but wasn't certain. And I forgot the location for 1938.
