I'm pretty sure science is human and that ants are inhuman.

That's the coolest thing I've seen in awhile. Fire ants, I hates them.

I have seen this done with termite mounds. Those get to be like 8 to 10 feet long, but not as dense

Well, in the USA, the fire ant is an invasive species, and has in and of itself horribly disrupted ecosystems.

There are even some areas in Florida where the land was devoid of anything except fire ants due to a mutant strain that had multiple queens & their colonies working semi-cooperatively as opposed to destroying each other.

So yeah, Americans aren't that keen on fire ant survival...at least in our neighborhood.
