For those of you that like to make games of varying kinds, this might be of interest. The webpage techdirt.com has for a number of years gone through what stuff of films/books/music etc comes into public domain in the US at the beginning of every new year. I think 2019 was the first time things actually came into public domain. And they have since had an annual game jam based on those properties.
