Check out trade goods on page 112 of the PH, they're the most basic prices for flour, animals and so forth. Of course if you want to use the Food, Drink, and Lodging table my guess is they probably eat one poor meal a day (3cp) and fill up on bread (2cp), which leaves enough for a mug of ale (4cp), and they can save 1cp a day.
