Alrighty.

Just in case Arthur decides to put me in Klingon jail for anything more than 5 minutes, I want to have retaliation ready.

I am collecting money for the ArtQ / BrooklynKnight Klingon Jail Fund. ALl proceeds from this fund will go to sticking Art in jail for as long as humanly possible as revenge for sticking me in jail.

I'm sure that if we work together, we can break the 4 hour record easily.

so did you all raise any money or what? ;) the Mrs. kept asking me what that whole klingon jail thing was for...

Just remember the lesson that I learned at GenCon.... the Klingons can only take you to jail if you don't scare them enough that they won't touch you.

They're like cats... they play rough with each other, but scare easily and scatter if you look big or make a loud noise.

I heard of one case where one of two people captured was lying on the cell floor and apparently had succumb to an illness. The other cried out for one of the guards. When the Klingon arrived, it was suggested that his superior would be quite disappointed in him if one of the prisoners was permanently harmed due to his negligance. Well, let me tell you, that Klingon made all haste to open that cell and kneel down next to the prone prisoner.

That was all the other prisoner needed! Seeing his chance, the standing prisoner clenched his two hands into fists, moved in from behind, and brought his forearms down onto the shoulders of the kneeling Klingon. He must not have needed to strike the Klingon too hard because I could tell that he was holding back a little bit. Nevertheless, the Klingon slumped down to the ground.

Then something happened that took me complately by surprize. The prisoner that had been lying on the floor suddenly stood up, turned to his partner, and suggested they make a hasty escape. He had only FEIGNED THE ILLNESS!

I would not like to be in THAT Klingon's noticebly-platformed shoes when the prisoners' egresss was discovered!

was it captain kirk? :)

I thought it might be but when he was pounding his forearms down on the Klingon I could only see him from behind. Even so, he appeared to be several inches taller, less heavy around the stomach, and had a slightly different hairpiece...
