"Pawns" almost certainly does not mean plastic or metal miniatures. Given what the set already contains, I don't think there's any way they could fit 80 miniatures into the box. Counters (a la Monster Vault) make a lot more sense, and it would be really nice to see Paizo put out official counters for their adventure paths. If this box represents a step in that direction, I'm all for it.

I'm up for a copy. Not a beginner, but my PF corebook makes my eyes bleed from info overload every time I crack it open (kinda like FRED). This sounds like just the right amount of "stuff" for my tastes.
