The Best of the Best: Story Hours

Here are my favorites:

Talien's Arcanis story hour

Barsoomecore's - Skull & Bones story hour
http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=84649

These two are good stories and fun reads. They make me want to play NOW.

Maester Luwin's - Game of Thrones story hour

Engaging story, interesting characters, and does a very good job of evoking the tone of Martin's world.

I also enjoyed the previously mentioned "In Hextor's Name" (wishing there were sequels to this one) & the Tales of Wyre.

And without a doubt, d20 Modern storytelling at its finest - the "Medallions" story hour. Great mix of action, humor, and creepy goodness.

Honorable mention goes to "To Find a King" - I found the campaign setup and characters to be very interesting. Unfortunately, it seems to have permanently stalled.

The X-Path SH was also a good read. I think that was written by Capellan.

Yeah, that was mine. It's over now. A little more abruptly than I'd planned, but that's the danger of story hour-ing an active game :)

Spaceship Zero!

Probably the funniest storyhour I've ever read. Still ongoing (I think)

Well, if PirateCat can claim he's still planning to update, I guess I can too :)

I do plan to come back to it.

There won't be any further adventures from those characters. Kull's goals are largely achieved, and he's looking forward to a long (well, as long as half-orcs get) lifetime of strict lawfulness and sternly imposed discipline on the fractious peasants. :)

It's possible that a "twenty years later ..." type campaign might happen someday with new characters who've grown up in the same region. But that's really up to the GM (and to players being available).
