In other RPGA news, they've just added the functionality to sanction homebrew games. (Four scenario markers: Greyhawk, Forgotten Realms, Eberron and Other).

RPGA sanctioned games have 1 DM and 4-6 players; that's pretty much the only restriction.

Its free...and you can sign of for the rewards program and get free stuff for running events, even at home.

Well, not that much.

Every 20 reward points a player gets, they are sent 3 campaign cards (which aid in the various RPGA-sanctioned campaigns, such as the Eberron Mark of Heroes and Realms Legacy of the Green Regent).

Every 20 reward points a DM gets, the DM receives some GM aid. If you only sanction homebrews, it's unlikely you'll get more than 20 in one reward period. However...
20 pts - plastic spell template (fireball, cones, etc.)
40 pts - promotional D&D Mini
60 pts - complete set of campaign cards for current period
80 pts - promotional D&D mini
100 pts - booster pack of current D&D mini set.
(repeat promo & booster from there on).

I run quite a few RPGA games, mainly because there are several people around Ballarat without a permanent DM, and I don't want to commit to an ongoing campaign (I already have one) - the design work is too much. So, the Living Greyhawk and other RPGA scenarios have been a real boon to me.

Incidentally, I've just had this e-mail through the Living Force group:

The status of the second campaign is currently in hiatus. WotC is reviewing the Star Wars RPG license and until it makes up its mind, it will not commit to supporting a Living Campaign. More on this the MOMENT I hear something.

So, Wizards is currently considering whether it wants to renew the Star Wars RPG license. If it does, there'll be a second Living Force campaign starting up after the first one winds up this year.

Sounds about right. I'd be nice to see a second Living Force campaign...heck, it'd be nice to see anything SWd20, but I can survive on what we've got so far, anyway.

I just hope Poly is done right. I liked it the way it was in Dungeon but I understand why it had to go.

Poly will be a support for the RPGA, not for d20 gaming in general.
