Yeah, so if you watched really any of Critical Role's Campaign 2 Episode 1, then you know where this came from. Actually, even before that, I'd picked up Joshua Raynack's Blood Magic supplement off of DMs Guild, and this sprang from inspiration from that and the Blood Hunter. It's actually a little funny how my rogues often take inspiration from other Core classes (cite, Mindwalker).
Anyway, enough chatter. I'm not too happy with Blood Tracker, but I wanted a utility ability, and this seemed to fit. Let me know what you think.
[h=1]Bonus Proficiencies[/h]When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with the Medicine and Nature skills.
[h=1]Crimson Blade[/h]At 3rd level, you have learned to sacrifice your life force to condemn you enemies. As a bonus action, you may roll one of your hit dice and decrease your hit point maximum by that amount for 1 minute or until you are incapacitated. During this time, your damage die for Sneak Attack increases to a d8.
[h=1]Blood Tracker[/h]Starting at 9th level, you know have become drawn to blood, and know how to follow it. You have advantage on Wisdom (Survival) checks to track a bleeding creature.
[h=1]Sacrificial Magic[/h]By 13th level, you have learned hints of the forbidden arts. You learn one spell from the Warlock spell list that is not above 5th level. When you cast it, you may roll one hit die per level you wish to cast it at, decreasing your hit point maximum by that amount until the end of your next short rest.
[h=1]Dance of Death[/h]At 17th level, you are able to make the ultimate sacrifice. As a bonus action, you may make it so whenever you hit with an attack until the end of your next turn, you critical. In exchange, until the end of your next short rest, whenever you are knocked unconscious, you start with one death saving throw already failed per time you have used this feature.

Rogue: Blood Agent
While some rogues hone their skills in thievery, assassination, or even the arcane arts, you practice something much darker. Many who live by the mentality “the ends justify the means,” follow this path. Blood agents sacrifice their own humanity, and their life force, to empower themselves. These rogues are dark, grim, and deadly.[h=1]Bonus Proficiencies[/h]When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with the Medicine and Nature skills.
