Enjoyed it right up to the very last episode. Wherein, in desperation to get a second season, they turned the protagonist into a complete moron. I mean, I get he was always supposed to be a flawed character, but how the hell (heh) did his reasoning work here?

It ruined the whole show for us. We went online to try to understand why, and the only thing we could find was the creator saying things like “hur hur, I made it so they HAVE to give me a second season”. Grr.
