Heya everyone.

I noticed that Phil Reed is selling the "Book of Unusual Feats" from his website for $8 in print.
It looks like a print collection of 101 Feats, More 101 Feats and Another 101 Feats.

Has anyone ordered this or other print books through Phil's site?
Its supposed to go up to $16, next week.

Do you think its best to grab it in print, or dig up the individual PDFs?
I haven't picked up the 101 Feat series, would you recommend them?

I haven't seen this series, but in general Phil is a good designer. He's consistent, imaginative, and has a good grasp of the rules. I doubt you'd go wrong, especially for $8.

I have all the PDFs and they offer more creative feats then almost anywhere else. But some of them can be rather specific and not all that useful to a lot of characters. Still, 303 feats for 8$ seems like a good deal.

Feats have been one of the favorite character crafting choices for my players. I'm sort of surprised and disappointed that AEG and Mongoose never put their books up in PDF.

But then, I think Phil's feats have a bit more polish than many that went into those collection.

I plan to pick it up.

Hmmm, haven't seen any of these products (though I've heard of all of them), but I will echo Piratecat and say that Phil Reed is generally reliable as a designer. And I gotta say, $8.00 is a steal if there are just 80 good feats in there, imho.

Yeah,

After reading your responses (Thanks so much for the feedback, BTW), I have to conclude that I'd be an idiot not to pick up 300+ feats, in print no less, for only 8 bucks.

That really is a good deal.

Thanks for the interest (and kind words). The Book of Unusual Featshttp://www.roninarts.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=482 is a print collection and yes it's only $8 right now.

Few campaigns would make use out of all of the feats in the book but most campaigns should find a way to incorporate 1/3 to 1/2 of the feats. The feats range from low-level to epic and cover fairly low-fantasy options, planar campaigns, and very high, cinematic games.

I printed a very low run just to test direct sales these days. It's not limited, though, and I'll print more if these sell out.

It says the price will go up in one week but it doesn't say when it was posted. Does anyone (Phil particularly) know when the price is going to go up? I won't have any extra money until Tuesday.

8 quid sounds great - but I guess it will be a lot more once you add shopping to overseas. Anyone happen to know how much it will cost to ship this to Germany?
