OK, so, as always (like with any trip), my wife is going to flip-flop back and forth on whether or not she's going to come with me to gencon. i am going to be there from friday through sunday no matter what (unless something unforeseen occurs, of course). she says she may come with both kids, or she may leave both of them with my parents. she says that if she does bring the kids along, she may take them to the dealer floor and con one day, to indiana beach another day, and just hang out in indy for the third day. if she does have the kids, she won't be gaming.

the question i have is, if she only comes to the con one day (out of fri, sat, and sun), which day should that be?

indeed. i'm fairly certain she mainly goes to gencon just to spend time with me, anyway. the kids make for an extra challenge, but bringing them can have its moments of fun as well.

If your goal is to get the family into the Con area, Friday might be a good idea. If your goal is just to have her meet people and spend time with you, Saturday might be good so she can go to the picnic. If you're trying to maximize your time spent with family, you might be able to weasle both Friday and Saturday due to the picnic.

if the picnic is apart from the con itself (and thus, she wouldn't have to buy saturday tickets) then that would be most feasable.
