Theren will go second but he will be holding his action. He views his job as preventing anyone from stopping the group (especially Thurgon at the moment). If anyone approaches Thurgon within the distance of his great spear, he'll work to either step between them or move them away, unless their actions are violent, in which case he'll skewer them. The exceptions here are the Chamberlain and the king, in which case Theren would wait for Thurgon's lead in those cases, since they are the objectives. Theren doesn't have a case to make here. He's more interested in determine the integrity of men (Thurgon, the Chamberlain, and the King especially). As long as Thurgon holds to his integrity, determination, and convictions, he won't allow him to be distracted by the physical efforts of others. However, if it proves that Thurgon's convictions are lacking and, say, the kings convictions prove noble, Thurgon is on his own. (i.e. if the rolls start shifting things around, Theren might be shifting with them). Roll well my friends, roll well! :) Stuff in play from Theren - Group Diplomacy (allies in 10' get +1 Diplomacy). Theren will be keeping within that distance from Thurgon. - If Thurgon is having difficulty getting his Point across, Theren will use knack for success to give Thurgon a +4 bonus to his next skill check. - If it looks like a multitude of people are trying to stop us (i.e. guards surrounding us, etc) Theren will use Rain of Steel to create a bubble of great spear swings in an attempt to intimidate people from approaching. - Until necessary to change it, Theren will be on the defensive not offensive. He'll be using the total defense action to add his weapon bonus to his defenses. Anything else needed?
