Whatever it was when you changed it, it sucked compared to your one trusted avatar here. So, I dont think its so much you are stuck, you just need a real good alternative.

It can be hard to change avatars when you’ve had a very recognizable one established for a long time. But, it can be a great opportunity, if you can find something similarly recognizable, and in my experience can spur on a shift in the way people interact with you (which if I’m considering such a change it’s because I want a bit of a rebranding, so it’s a good thing IMO).

I finally swapped out the old color-wonked selfie for a more-recent pic, though it's probably still not easy to ID me from it. Also added a banner because it turns out I have some pretty pics.
