The Create-a-Setting Thread: Dinopirates of Ninja Island!

I give permission to use my ideas, although some are blatant rip-offs from already published work that probably is already copyrighted/trademarked, etc.

Hola,

Saw my name in the list of ppl who have not yet 'released' their contributions, well, hereby I do. The few things I have posted so far, and anyhting to be posted henceforth on this or other Dino-Pirate (tm?? ;)) thread are free to be used by one and all for fun and/or profit...

Ciao,

Well, that said, here some thoughts on the matter.

I am so far missing some workouts on some of the original thoughts, which to my mind would comprise some of the core of the game (in terms of look/feel): the clash between pure savagery and nature versus 'high'tech

- savages who ride velicoraptors into combat
- ships powered by steam engines armed with powder weapons

As for the turtle people, I recall there should be some old dungeon magazines which details a sentient turtle race (was for some adventure which covered two dungeon issues, cannot recall which numbers though), might be of help if someone can find them in their archives somewhere.

Ciao,

How does the group work?
Can anyone sign in?
I don't get it =\
The group is wide open, feel free to join. You should see a "Join This Group" link somewhere, just click on that and follow the directions. Come join the Dinopirates Party!

:D

Hi folks! Thought I'd resurrect this baby in light of ENPublishing's venture into d20 Mini-Games --

Which I happen to be managing

-- because I'm definitely considering DINO-PIRATES OF NINJA ISLAND as the inaugural release for the product line.

The Yahoo! group has gone into a bit of hibernation, but I'm hopeful the sleeping Dino-Pirate beast still has a little life in it...

:D

I'm going to bump it again, because I'd hate to see it fizzle away. The Yahoo group hasn't been used in a year, and the idea was much more active when it was being tossed around ENWorld...

There'll be no fizzling, never fear. Dino-Pirates of Ninja Island is only a couple of EN Mini-Games away from reality, gang. Keep the faith.

Too bad there's so many things that aren't open content. Warforged would be perfect for the robots. Vanara for the moneky people. The Swashbuckler, Samurai, Spirit Shaman, and Ninja classes. I'm sure applying the Anthropomorphic template from Savage Species to dinosaurs would go against the licence too...

However, I can do whatever I want at my table. :D

I can't wait!
