The D&D 2nd Edition cards

Does anybody remember these? I used to have loads of them, but eventually threw them all out for some reason. I really liked them since they seemed to have made a card for all the monsters and many NPCs from all the different settings, and had their stats and description on the back. They were really neat, and were quite useful for games.

Does anybody still have some?

Yes, I just found my complete '91 factory set in a box of my old stuff that my mother was clearing out of her house.

I have to admit that I didn't get much use out of them, though. I hope they're worth something.

I picked up factory set on discount years back. I thought it was an OK concept, but the execution left a lot to be desired. The art, especially, was inconsistent at best. The few good pieces of art were reused from other books, and there was a lot of really, really bad art in those cards.

I bought the '92 factory set from a con a few years back. Never found any use for them, though it seems some people regard them as collector's items.

I got some use out of them, because they gave me a bunch of monsters that I haven't had. I didn't think the art was that bad, either.

I got given the '92 factory set last ytear for my 21st birthday and I use them to show my players things I want them to see. The art isn't great, but it is good enough.
