No the author is not, he is Jewish. But having meet him several time and being one of the few African-American RPG publishers out there, I know Hyrum did this out of his LOVE for the genre. and nothing else. So please don not "read" into anything.

I am very tempted to buy this if only to see what it's like. The idea is a very unique one, that's for sure.

My first d20 Modern campaign was The Streets of Seattle, based on Seventies cop movies like The French Connection, Dirty Harry, Bullitt (yes, it was 1968 - just go with it...), and so on, and both player and non-player characters from that game would be right at home in Solid!.

I'm looking forward to picking this up!
