The d20 Modern Buffy thread!

Well, I've finally taken the plunge. I have up until last night never, ever watched even a single Buffy episode, but I've heard people talk about it, rant about it, plan their lives around it for six years now and I had to see what they were talking about. So, I bought the First Season DVD. First episode is good, I liked it a lot. Working on episode 2 tonight.

Epsiode 2: The Witch. Great episode.

And Tetsujin. I will have to disagree with you. Joss has NEVER said anything of the sort. Ive been following for Seven Years now and i even prowl around on the Bronze. If i could see an actual link or where i could find this quote, i would agree with you, but until then, im saying no because Joss has said all of this has been planned for quite a while.

Dont you find it odd it all started with Sunnydale High and now its going to end with Sunnydale? And if he wanted the Slayer Cell out so bad, he could have blown up the Council, not introduced Westly or Quinten Travers or Faiths supposed Watcher and he could have left Faith in Jail or just killed her off. No, he needed them all. They were always a part of the big picture.

,,,now, anyone been watching ANGEL. i watched the last two episodes on tape last night, and good golly miss molly! someone work up Wes' curretn stats. Smart/Dedicated/Fast/Occultist, perhaps? Gunn as Tough/Strong/Bodyguard? thoughts. seeing Wes emptying two pistols into The Big Bad without flinching is one of the best moments on ANGEL so far. whoda' thunk Wes would end up so frickin' cool?

That was pretty cool. I also like the scene in 'Spin the Bottle' where Wes tries out a new set of weapons, the bracer thing, before going to help Angel and Cordelia. Would anyone have any game notes on those?

Unfortunately, all of the stuff from the original Bronze was poofed out of existence when the show moved from WB to UPN -- I don't even think that the Bronze Shelter or the Alternative Watchers have it archived. Which is a real shame: we lost a lot of cool posts by Amber, Alyson, et al.
