The Dance of Souls

OOC: Nothing that Beamer wants.

IC: Beamer watches as Azaroth leaves the inn. He considers accompanying him, but decides that Azaroth seems to want to be alone with his thoughts. Beamer also goes out on the town. He too thinks about their journey and his own inability to handle the Talon agents. We were lucky to have defeated them. I will not be as weak next time. His spirits are buoyed slightly by the feeling of growing power inside him. Beamer arrives at his destination, a small mage's shop, where he procures the materials (100gp) for summoning a familiar as well as some scrolls: silent image(2), shield, hold portal, enlarge person(2), and magic weapon(2) totalling 200gp.

ooc: Not sure why Azaroth's share is so low. 1351.75-100=1251.75... does "as well as what he got selling what he replaced" refer to additional sales, or is that refering to some purchases? Or are you adding it up differently than I somehow?

Banion has decided to buy a special bag which should help with carrying any loot the group comes across, but he's a bit short on funds at the moment. Specifically, he needs another 633 gp or so. If one of the others is willing to lend him the money before they leave town, Banion will be happy to pay that kindly person back when they are paid for their task.

OOC: Azaroth is keeping the masterwork scimitar, which I believe makes up the difference. Beamer will lend the money to Banion.

"Thank you, Beamer. I apreciate that. Hopefully we'll come across enough treasure that I can repay you not only with cash but also by helping to carry your share with the bag." With a grin, Banion heads off to make his purchase.

ooc: Will update Banion's character sheet with the purchase and with the 633 gp debt to Beamer.

With Beamer's effort to recruit a few living shields failed, the group gathers the next morning to make their last preparations before leaving for Ravensdale.

Azaroth will pick up a some parchment (10 sheets) (20 silver)

as Well as 2 scrolls for charm person, 2 scrolls obscuring mists, 1 disguise self, 1 charm person, 1 true strike, 1 reduce person He will also buy himself a long sleeved robe with a hood on it, thats got a black base and red accents. Finally he'll buy himself a mask that covers the upper part of his face but leaves his nostrils down uncovered as well as black gloves.

The scrolls will cost 200g total. But I don't really know how much the rest of this stuff would cost. so I'll leave it up to you knight.

After purchasing these effects Azaroth will walk back to the inn, announce himself when needed, and head up to bed. Just a note this was in the works while you made your post heh. But regardless it doesn't matter either way he takes care of it.

Azaroth walks downstairs from his room and meets up with his comrades. Azaroth will greet his friends then look at them and say.

Beamer, Banion, we had plans to head back to Lathirn after Ravensdale to return tennar's art piece as well as the horses did we not? If so. I would suggest you take this time now to buy some new clothing and perhaps something so that you might not be recognized immediately upon reentering lathirn. Wouldn't you agree?

(So that's 3 scrolls of charm person?
For the outfit, I'd call that the equivalent of scholar's outfit (5 gp, 6 lb))

heh I noticed that myself as I was adjusting my character sheet. I will instead make that 1 charm person scroll a ray of enfeeblement scroll

OOC: More like living intimidate bonuses.

"Well, the horses go back to Tennar's associate in Lornsten. I think we could just leave the art piece with him and he can handle getting it back to Tennar. Then we won't have to worry about going back into that viper's den."
