Why not just take a feat that makes two-handed weapons do times 3 strength damage?

Because while there are two published feats that allow for double strength damage to be inflicted, there are none that allow for triple strength damage to be inflicted.

Just out of curiosity, would the Weapon Master's ability to max out standard damage apply to the Duelist's Precise Strike? What about Burst weapons?

Because there is no feat that does this. Seems pretty simple to me

No, it only applies to the base damage of the weapon
