The Dragons are Coming

I thought it was pretty well presented. I have decided, however, I don't think I'll ever eat at IHOP again, as the commercial with the guy rolling downstairs and then mumbling about stuffed crepes was aired so often I began screaming at the tv.

Ditto for my wife and me. Damn, but that was irritating.

It was good, would have like to see other animal actions that they used to justify their outcome, things like parrots that eat mud to counter toxics from plants, monkeys that do the same with charcoal (stealing it from man), magpies (sp) that use cigarettes to smoke parasites from their feathers. :D

They did bring up a few good examples, like the way the bombadier bettle projects near boiling water and the way that stingrays have teeth to grind minerals.

Interesting show, but it struck me watching that I still prefer my dragons with intelligence (ala Smaug) rather than winged dinosaurs.

Watching the dragons eat rocks for the platinum gave me a major flashback to that old Rankin/Bass cartoon movie "The Flight of Dragons". (from 1982)

I'm on the road right now but I've Tivoed it so I'll watch it with my wife when I get home. Now that I've got my Tivo to Go working properly, it sounds like this is finding a new home on DVD. :)

this was awful.
the presentation as real was extremely lame.
they worked on this for three years? and are proud of it?
yikes. talk about low self expectations.

the "dark to hide stuff" sfx, and "violence off camera" were ridiculous too.

they marketing this show so well, i can't believe it wasnt any better.

Can i get a refund?

We dont' get it here and I am very, very mad about it... at least we are (finally) getting Farscape: the peacekeeper wars this Friday.
