The Emerald Sage has Spoken, comments?

Well, now at least we all know. Might help in future to put a 'continued' tag at the bottom of the page or something. The butler piece in particular will suffer from the same unless you, I don't know, turn it sideways but at least it's in a more sensible-seeming panel layout. Incidentally, I can provide you with a higher resolution version if you really want.

Oh, I didn't think about the 'continuated' label, silly me. Well, it was a first issue, some problems were going to happen, as you say now we all know. For next one I'll email you with a pre-finished version of the comic pages to ask for suggestions.

Go ahead with posting the image if you want. I may use it on my own site in a couple of months when the current chapter ends, as a sort of breathing space, but I'll be sure to mention any other places in my news posts for any link-happy bunnies that read my site.

I'll try to update the art galleries at Horade site either today or tomorrow, I'll keep you informed.

And glad I am that people like the comic. It's why I do it (that, and as training for commercial work. Which is starting to happen now, so I'm happy.) I just wouldn't call Thetis a 'girl'... she's 137 years old, ya know.:D

The comic is very good (or at least I like it a lot :D).
And while Thetis is not exactly a girl (besides her youthful looks ;)), I was thinking of a certain dark-haired spoiled rogue-wanabee :D

I really liked the fact that it was the first PDF I saw that had print and screen formations. Makes reading it online much easier.
Haven't had much time yet to check on the specific content.

We have updated our Art Gallery with five new images from Emerald Sage #1, four from Shawn Sines (LrdApoc) and the one from s/LaSH (Benjamin D. Richards), so now you can look at the full version of the comic, as it was originally drawn.

Right, I've read the whole thing now. It's good. I was startled to see a product that actually fitted on screen! It's pretty, and it's accessible - very good idea for the layout (even though it confused my comic, I think more people should do this).

The actual content? I was interested enough to read it. I don't always do that. The classes were interesting; I especially liked the demagogue. That was just cool.

Overall, a little shorter than I might have liked, but the operative word is liked. I'm sure this will be rectified once people start taking note and sending material. (And the cover illustration is cool.)

Thanks :) That was our goal with the on screen layout, make a product that would be easy and confortable to read on screen. But as we know that many people prefer to print their stuff, we felt that it was better to do a easy printing version in portrait format. It took me double work with layout, and I wasn't very sure about if people would like it, but it seems that they do, so I'm very happy.

wow, thanks again, now I'm almost blushing.

We hope to get more submissions for our second issue (Steampunk themed). We would like to make it longer, mayube arriving to 64 pages.

The cover is the result of many hours of work from our gifted resident artist, Lrd Apoc (Shawn Sines). I really love that illustration, it's simply wonderful, he did a great job.
