The End of Rokugan d20

They could, but other than Spycraft and SG-1, they are opting out of the d20 publishing and going back to its root in-house system, Roll-n-Keep.

So while I really cannot shed a tear about the end of the line, I will sing a song for you...

*off-key with a celebratory jig*
The sun is gonna come out tomorrow...
Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow...
The sun will shine...

Well, I finally received four of the Secrets books and I've made my way through about 1/3 of the Crab volume. So far I'm rather excited about the series. I've always thought of L5R/Rokugan as the one place where I felt like I was there at the beginning. I've enjoyed it's evolution over the years and, while the d20 excursion lost me at first, I feel I'm finally starting to catch up. Considering I got all eight of the clan books for about $16 each I don't feel bad at all about the rather expensive purchase. I'm definitely glad to have them before they become difficult to find. Here's hoping the rest are as good as the Crab!

No more d20? Thank GOD!

Oh thank goodness for that. It is about time AEG realized that their best work was the Roll & Keep system, not this d20 foolishness.

With any luck, this severing L5R from the gangreen of the d20 system may prove to be the key to resurecting my beloved 7th sea!

Well, over at RPG.net, many people hated the 2nd edition of L5R so it's not like AEG's on a perfect track record with either camp.

So, to get this straight:
1. You think that everyone should only ever do a single thing, the thing he's best with. So wizards, who makes most profit with Magic AFAIK, should dump the whole D&D thing (and the other trading card games they do) and only do Magic??
2. You think d20 system is rubbish?

I think you're wrong here.
