Yeah as with most things newer technology has relegated them to obsolescence mostly. Though I've read that nothing really compares to a true Leslie Speaker, but the Hughes and Kettner Rotosphere is pretty close, and thats what Kim Thyail has on his peddle board. They are not cheap. About 15-20 years ago I went to the few music stores that were left in the area looking for a drum stool. I had a hard time finding one and when I did, it cost me $70. Still have it but don't use it much after I found a chair with arms that raised, which are rarer than hens teeth.Both were slightly discounted
