Can Din Din use his Sleep spell on the wasps, or do we have to roll initiative first?

Sure - the sleep spell would be a surprise round and then initiative would be rolled. Keeping in mind that, once initiative is triggered, there's no going back, so to speak.

Changing my schedule slightly and moving this game to a once a week posting schedule like my other games. As such, expect regular updates on Thursdays from now on. I'm also closing recruiting as we have a pretty good group here.

I am taking an extended break from DMing PbPs for the time being. If anyone wants to step in to the DM spot for this campaign, you may do so with my blessing.
Unlike my other campaigns, there isn't a plot outline to follow as this campaign was intended to be a sandbox set against the backdrop of the war between Blackmoor and the elves. It was my intention to run the Temple of the Frog adventure sometime around when the PCs were 5th level. Beyond that, the idea was to give the PCs multiple potential adventure hooks and let them choose which ones to follow. The campaign was set to end with the destruction of Blackmoor.
