Once the Origins game gets going and I'd like to roll a character for this game as well. I actually own this book and don't have to use an alternate version like the RC. This kind of setting is right up my alley!!

Looking at doing a Half Elf Druid character.

Going along the lines of his mother was killed when he was child (10 yo) and he ran to the swamp to hide. Encountered an Animal Spirit and was entrusted to care over the sacred part of the swamp. When he was older (57 yo) an explosion from a hovercraft occurred over the grove and his home was destroyed. Left the swamp in search of finding the people that destroyed his sanctuary.

Do I need anything else for his backstory or would that even fit in the game?! I'm playing with stats and everything and I'll post the final character when it's ready.

That will definitely work. Is the character's father still alive? Which parent was elven?

Mother was elven...the character has no clue about the father. So anything goes on that front. The mother never talked about his father except to say that he was a vile evil man. The mother raised him in the elven ways of nature and that's why he ran towards the woods when she died.

Very groovy. Gives me idea...yes. :D Cook up some stats and let's have a look.
