The fallback

Do you use OChainmail for combat when you play OD&D, or the "new combat system" with AC and HP and stuff?

yes.

Chainmail is required for OD&D. not optional.

rules for exhaustion.
rules for missile fire
rules for artillery

yes. we use Chainmails combat rules. but instead of "units". each mini represents a single PC...eventually Hero or something similar... ;)

but we did add Hps.... and the players like the optional Supplement I Greyhawk version for each class

Depending on the group:
Gamma World, Munchkin, M:tG, board games, Shadowrun.

At some point, Conan d20 will be in there, along with TW, perhaps.

My list is:

1 - Call of Cthulhu BRP
2 - GURPS WW2
3 - Warhammer FRPG 1E
4 - Earthdawn
5 - Star Wars D6
6 - Finally, D&D, usually Birthright, Planescape or Dragonlance.

I rarely get to play anything these days though...

Don´t say to us that sex is your second choice... :p

I knew a guy who actually said to our gaming group, "You can get laid anytime but a good game of D&D is precious."

for gaming other than D&D it is D&D PBemail or online games. You meet annoying people online and can kill their characters.... sometimes. :)

Hmm,

1) D&D
2) d20future
3) d20modern
4) Chess, or coding...
5) Sports (shudder)

Yes, I realize that the last two are not RPGs, but after d20 modern, I'm out of RPGs.

What's my next preference? Depends who I'd be running for.

Buffy comes to mind - I haven't run it, but I've played it, there's a sample adventure in the book, and character creation could be sped up by handing out the sample characters.

Another option would be BESM - but that requires a lot more prep work before hand.

If only 50% of my group showed up one day, and we decided we weren't going to all head home, we'd probably break out Munchkin or a boardgame.

Complicated answer GO!

If all my players were available, but no DnD for some reason
1. Ninja Burger
2. Zombies! (not totally sure of the name, zombie survival game, but your character is you and play generally begins in the room where the game takes place. That's how we do it anyway.)
3. BESM, genre depends on how long I have to prepare (I've been itching to make some GITS houserules for BESM)

The more likely scenario is that most of the players flaked out and I'm trying to pull together something with some of the more 'hardcore' players, in which case...
In reality:
Warhammer40K (2nd edition)(or Dawn of War perhaps)
Or Space Hulk if we could find all the stuff for it.
If I had the armies:
Warhammer fantasy or Warhammer Battles
Necromunda, warhammer epic
