The Fifth Element Returning to Theaters

Weird choice for a rerelease in theaters. Kinda silly movie. Isn't everything a moneygrab?

That's a strange way of spelling "amazing".

I hope they'll do a theatrical release over here as well, because I'd love to see the Fifth Element in the theatre.

Yeah, I'd go watch 5th Element in a theatre... I never saw it on the big screen. Ocean's Eleven as well. I did see Silence of the Lambs in the theatre, but I'd definitely go watch it again.

I went to see both ET and The Dark Crystal when they were rereleased.

THE FIFTH ELEMENT is one of those movies, along with STARGAT,E that I saw in the theaters upon release and that bounced off of me like bullets off of Superman's chest. I never understood the appeal and never revisited those films. I'm glad that other people like them, though, and did see a few people cosplaying both as Leeloo and Ruby Rod over the years at New York Comic-Con.

I know you meant individually, but now I've got an image in my head of someone in Leeloo's white top and orange rubber bracers, sporting Ruby's hairdo, makeup and mic cane. Presumably with a double-sided multipass.

I hated this film when it first came out "the Fifth Element is ... love? Groooooan." But I was younger and more foolish, so I'm kinda interested in giving it a second shot.
