I picked up the poster today that shows the upcoming Dungeons of Dread expansion for D&D miniatures. Most of what I saw was perfectly fine; not too many pieces that I feel a need for, and isn't that Orc Raider with the axe a rework of an early gnoll mini?

Nevermind that.

Then I saw the Grick miniature. It's...very patriotic.

White beak and tail spike. Bright blue scales. Bright red underbelly.

It looks like something from a really odd Fourth of July parade. Hideous color choices, people. Hideous.

Thankfully, it'll be easy to repaint....

This is shocking news. As a non-american, who lives in non-america, I find this favouritism towards the US of A to be simply scandelous.

... this is a joke topic, right?

Except that everyone knows gricks are British.

Well then, they are now clearly breaking the Grick's intended role by making it seem more american.

Except the U.K.'s colours are .... red, white and blue. So it is obviously a British patriotic monster.

Nope. I guess it's Mr Putin's plot. These are Russian colors. :)
So call him Tovarisch Grickoff from now on, please.

Wait, so that Toby Keith song is about friggin' redcoats?! Man, I thought he loved FREEDOM and not THE ROYAL FAMILY AND GUYS NAMED NIGEL!

AND THE COMMUNISTS?!?!?!?! My world is rocked!
