Hi,
We'd like to focus your attention on the new Polish project called - The Forge.
There you will find a little outstanding and non-conventional project. This supplement is a mixture of plans and visions together with ideas for adventures connected with this place.
Supplements presented by us are unusual because of their extended graphical form and flexible description, which enable you to convert them for the needs of any system.
We hope you will find interesting the way we introduced our work to you and that it will make your sessions more attractive.

There are 3 language versions - Polish, English and German, each hidden behind small flag on the main website (www.theforge.pl).

We'd like to encourage you to write your opinions on our forum.

Best regards
The Forge

Aha! It's a tiny British flag link, and tough to find, but I found it. :D

Nice site. I love the art. Is it possible to post materials in something other than rar format?

Hmmm... Is rar format some kind of problem?

BTW - We're glad that you like our drawings - there are lots of new coming each week.

I'm used to the standard "zip" for compressed files; I don't run into rars very often, and can't open them. Frankly, I'm unlikely to track down the decompression software just for this site, and if I feel this way a lot of other folks probably do too.

This is nothing against the site, which otherwise looks great, but barriers to use (the small translation flags, the rar format) will probably result in less visitors.

How popular is D&D in Poland? Is it hard to find players?

Current version of www.theforge.pl is a test. We decided to open our website and ask our guests to help us shape it. All opinions will be analyzed and we will try to do as much as we can to satisfy your expectations.

You're right - zip is much more popular than rar format, and as far as I know our gnome technicians have just started working hard to change this little inconvenience. ;)

And answering to your question...
About a year or so we got a Polish edition of D&D and group of players is growing each day. Before that AD&D and D&D were one of the most popular RPG systems in Poland, but lack of Polish translation and problems with books availability blocked a chance for playing for most players.
Two years ago we opened the first (and nowadays the most popular) Polish D&D forum - dnd.rpg.pl.
But, as the time passes, players want something more than forums, house rules and fan fiction and adventures...
That's why we decided to create something new - The Forge... ;)

New on The Forge

OK - as Piratcat suggested - we've changed rar to zip format, so enjoy!

Our gnome artificers are working on a new forum.

And what's new? We published on The Forge a brand new image from "Ygorn's Bridge" supplement - available next week!!!

In The Offer you can find a new art - Fish Side's Harbor.

Its worth getting the free WINrar program anyway. It opens just about every "zipped" format and rar is a better compression anyway. I wish the industry would move to it to be honest :)

I clicked on the link, and to be quite honest with you, my dial up connection is so slow, by the time the loading bar got half full, I had already closed it. The front page should be grand and eye catching, not take a day to load. At least thats my opinion.
