5 out of 5 rating for The Fourth Doctor Sourcebook

The Fourth Doctor's Sourcebook is the "big one" most fans have probably been waiting for all along. Tom Baker is THE Doctor for many fans. His time as the Doctor towers above all others in terms of quantity and quality. This sourcebook reflects that sense of grandeur. My only negative about this book is that the descriptions of each serial is a bit truncated compared to the previous three Doctors because there are so many adventures to cover. While that might sounds bad, the descriptions are probably the right length for these sourcebooks anyway, as less prodigious Doctors later have bloated episode descriptions to pad out their page count (The Sixth and 9th Doctors in particular). As an added bonus, this sourcebook has Douglas Adams' unaired adventure Shada as an appendix. Like all of the previous sourcebooks, this volume is a treasure trove of information for any Doctor Who fan.
