Message: <blockquote data-quote="Jer" data-source="post: 8568690" data-attributes="member: 19857"><p>I think he was at least skittish about it - he'd been sued over Dangerous Journeys and I imagine he'd have that hanging over anything he was going to publish afterwards.  Especially given that at least by his characterization of the complaints from TSR any case they had hinged on having folks who weren't familiar with RPGs seeing the same terms and similar rules in both games and not understanding that the expressions of the rules were different and that the terms were generally used in RPGs.  I'd believe it - TSR at the time was notorious about operating in bad faith when filing lawsuits.</p></blockquote><p></p>
