The barriers for entry into the fields of 'business owner' and 'online RPG personality' are sufficiently low that if they are able to survive month-to-month, they will on a lucky month come up with enough to get a new corporate entity and be able to start the process all over again. We've seen any number of TTRP agitators or scammers (or both) seem to last effectively indefinitely on very little obvious game making/selling success. Pundey keeps squeaking by on marginal Youtube dollars and whatever newbie who buys the line that he's a big deal purchasing one of each of his books or the like. Ken Whitman lasted a lot longer than anyone had a right to believe possible (certainly more than his kickstarter funds would have paid rent). Isn't there another guy who keeps making bogus storefront websites or the like?</blockquote>
