Watching him miss an 11x8 inch notebook FOUR TIMES from less than 200 yards with a 50cal with a scope just made my heart hurt. Scopes make shots like that incredibly simple math, and the bullets are VERY LARGE, making the job even easier. How is he so damned bad at it? That said, I know why he is like he is. Dude's confidence comes entirely from having access to cash. Notice how only he operated the 50cal. Those other guys can aim and probably would've done a better job of it. But it's -his- Toy. Only he gets to play with it. And that was so they had to include him in the video. Shot after shot, failure after failure, he probably came up with excuses for missing every time and none of it was a simple "Woops, I messed that one up!". I'd put money on it. If anyone asked to take a shot to try and get it right, I bet he lashed out and refused. Made up something about being the only person present licensed to handle such a big gun because of his military sniper training and his 300 confirmed kills. For the record: ANYONE over the age of 18 in the US can buy and use a 50cal rifle. No special permits required. They're just expensive as hell. Like $4,000+ on the low end and $12,000+ on the high end. After a quick search... I think he went for the $9,000+ Barrett 82A1 Rifle with a Night Force scope. https://www.omahaoutdoors.com/barrett-82a1-rifle-29-50-bmg-10-rd-w-nightforce-3-10x42-scope/ You can compare it in the video at the 9-11 second range. Lanasa buys himself toys like this and the tank because they're splashy and impressive and it replaces the need for him to be a decent person.
