Message: <blockquote data-quote="Sacrosanct" data-source="post: 8807968" data-attributes="member: 15700">In all seriousness though, I inferred this several posts back.  I don't have the time or bandwidth to make exposing Justin et al a full-time job, per se.  Unless someone is personally involved, honestly it's a bit of a red flag to see them go after him any anyone around him with such fervor and making it so personal.  Yeah, they might be bad people, but other people more directly involved are taking care of it, and there's no need for me to make that emotional or time investment myself.  Believe me, as a fan and publisher of OSR material, I want nothing more than to see his toxicity out of the hobby.  I go about that by creating inclusive OSR material, rather than make it so personal about them, their families, and everyone they have ever hung out with.  It's too close to mob justice for my taste, and while lacking the bigotry of Justin, it's the same tactics.  That doesn't sit well with me, especially for anyone who wasn't attacked by Justin personally.  And honestly, I think it makes you (general you) vulnerable to counter action and just isn't a good idea. YMMV.Let me give an example.  Justin is suing Tenkar for libel due to lost income because of the tour being cancelled.  Well, it's possible Ernie or even Victor can now sue Dave for getting Ernie kicked out of potential income as a special guest for a convention and for what? Not saying he could/would win, just saying when you're going after someone personally and trying to get them kicked out of things that affect their livelihood, you better make sure you're 100% correct and have a legit reason in the eyes of the judge, not in your own eyes, because that's who is making the ruling.  And if we step back and try to put ourselves in a position of someone who doesn't know any of this history, it doesn't look good for Simpson.  "You're going around trying to get Ernie banned from where he makes income? And you're only going after Victor's convention, causing Victor to lose attendance due to losing a guest and inferring that if Victor doesn't, he supports bigotry because of things a business partner of Ernie said?"Yeesh.  Step back Dave Simpson.  You aren't even directly involved.</blockquote>
