I'm an entertainment reporter who does box office analysis for the site I work for, and D&D: HAT could certainly open this low but it's also had a lot of marketing and positive buzz since then, so it is likely to open higher than they suggest.And finally, the headline and article make it it sound like D&D is tracking lower than Shazam: FotG's widely-reported final numbers ($30.1 million) but  in addition to the article using tracking numbers that are out of date from a site that is consistently a little off one way or another, the high end of said out-of-date tracking numbers match Shazam's actual weekend gross.  It is lower than Shazam's pre-release tracking of $35 million to $40 million. Shazam: FotG disappointed because of poor marketing, its DCEU lame duck status, and a complete lack of critical buzz, both problems D&D: HOT are not really dealing with.I know none of this is technically NuTSR other than refuting the nonsense story that they shared because their agenda is "something something woke 5E Hasbro darkside," but that as someone who reports on this stuff I couldn't let that lie without some context.</blockquote>
