Hilariously, the automated tool provided by the same realtor estimates the value of the property to be much lower: Now, to be fair, that estimate is based off the idea that the property is being sold as a home. It seems Lanasa has gotten some of the zoning modified and is trying to sell the DHSM as commercial property. The DHSM is next to a laundromat, and is across the street from a bank and a Pizza Hut, so it's fair to guess that it would have more value as commercial real estate than residential. But even in that case, $5M is still ridiculous. For comparison, here is a gas station for sale about a half mile from the DHSM: https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/1231-Grant-St-Lake-Geneva-WI/28816015/ That property has ~4x more land than the DHSM, more parking, and more valuable capital (the DHSM building probably has little commercial value in it's current form). And it's for sale with a $2.189M asking price. I'm far from an expert on this, but I believe there are many ways a sale could be stopped. The simplest way is that someone could place a lien on the property. My understanding is that it's relatively easy to start the lien process, and the house wouldn't be sold until the issue was resolved. So anyone who believes they are owed money by Lanasa (i.e. anyone who filed as a debtor in the NuTSR bankruptcy) could stop the sale - at least temporarily. Another possibility is that WotC could file a motion in the current trademark case. The trustee in the bankruptcy might also have other options to freeze Lanasa's assets. But both of those issues are in legal cases that aren't in the state of Wisconsin, so I imagine the legal side of things could get complicated.
