There have been no meaningful incidents or updates to the court cases to report on over the holidays. But here's a few minor things that weren't worth their own updates. Ernie Gygax has had a surprisingly positive recovery since his health issues last year. He's using a walker in a few of his pictures, but based on social media he's stayed reasonably active. He has refrained from mentioning NuTSR or the DHSM in any of his own posts. However, he did take the time to post support for a new board game called Cutthroats and Thieves: Why is this relevant? Cutthroats and Thieves was developed by Victor Dorso (who runs Dave Con and dis-invited Justin Lanasa from the con due to his behavior), and is produced/manufactured by Don Semora and Wizard Tower Games. The same Don @Wizard Tower Games that recently won a ruling against for harassment in the WotC case. This is a little bit off topic (although we've talked about it a number of times in this thread), but Ernie also shared some sales numbers about the Marmoreal Tomb: "Just under a hundred copies" for fourth quarter sales. Make of that what you will. Stephen Dinehart continues to promote the DHSM and NuTSR repeatedly on both his personal and Wonderfilled social media accounts. One thing that I found particularly interesting is that he is now calling Ernie Gygax the "Creative Supervisor" on Giantlands. I don't remember Ernie having that credit before. Also, as a fun anecdote, in one of the videos Dinehart shared of his time with Ernie, Ernie went on a bit of an edition rant and said "First edition is like a fine scotch, 5e is like a light beer". The DHSM Facebook account has been a bit more active recently, but hasn't posted anything worth mentioning. Lanasa is clearly trying to be a little edgy, and has posted some mildly political and kind of not-kid-safe things that I consider hypocritical. But he has managed to steer clear of anything that is outwardly offensive. The fact that the DHSM building is still for sale is likely the main reason for his better behavior.
