@Jedion357 has released a new Youtube video detailing some communication he had with an anonymous source. Warning: This one has not only very bad language, but some slurs as well.
https://www.youtube.com/live/HjHIX7HxquI?si=6V_HasGX2jOtNwEp
In summary: An account going by the pseudonym "Sam Ferguson" started stalking Tom's online accounts. This person then reached out to Tom and asked him to make a video that would paint Don Semora in a bad light (claims of warrants for his arrest, etc). They promised Tom that he would be rewarded by gaining followers, connections to a few famous people (i.e. Ed Greenwood, Larry Elmore, and for some unknown reason, Michael Beihn), and an unknown amount of "$". Sam also told Tom that he was already in contact with another individual poised to testify about NuTSR, and had bought their loyalty. In the video, Tom has redacted the name of the person Sam claims to have persuaded to change their testimony. Tom responded to Sam, basically saying "no". Communication then broke down into Sam swearing at Tom and insulting him before disappearing. Later, Tom received an anonymous email (from the same anonymous service noted in the recent court documents) that escalated the insults to include anti-semitic slurs. It sounds like Tom is planning to report this activity to the WotC lawyers, to let them know that someone is trying to influence witnesses in the court cases. Clearly, the most obvious conclusion is that "Sam" is someone from NuTSR. Unfortunately, there is not any hard proof of that. You would need to file a subpoena, get IP logs, etc, to get 100% proof. And I'm sure if Lanasa was questioned about it in court he would claim it is someone intentionally impersonating NuTSR to make NuTSR look bad. Personally, in complete speculation with no proof whatsoever to back this up, I think this someone trying to play a gambit. The plan was to try see if Tom could be bought, and bait him with a claim that another individual in the case is compromised. If the bribe works, they can get Tom on their side and use him for whatever they want (potentially even blackmailing him or using the bribe to discredit him in the future). And if Tom says no, they knew Tom would report that the unamed individual was compromised, and then that person's testimony wouldn't be used against them. An attempt at a win-win scenario.
