Message: <blockquote data-quote="Deset Gled" data-source="post: 9489255" data-attributes="member: 7808">This is complete speculation, of course, but I'm guessing a big part of the negotiation was Lanasa getting out of the gaming business entirely.  The closing of the DHSM was part of it; the fact that it's no longer being sold as the DHSM is also very notable.  As I mentioned, he also formally terminated OSR Games and the DHSM LLC.  The previously mentioned changes to the Google ISBN listings for NuTSR books are likely related to the negotiations.Beyond that, it looks like Those Pesky Goblinz and Those Pesky Orcz are also no longer available for purchase from Amazon or any affiliate sites (there may be a couple used copies available).  Lanasa's other limited forays into gaming products, like the "Tales and Tots" book, his dice spinner, and even his kid's book "My Name is Cheezza Not Pizza" are gone without much of a trace left.  I haven't done too deep of a search yet, but it seems like the last place to get NuTSR merchandise will be at whatever random fair Mic McArt shows up to.  He's still hawking copies of Dungeon Crawl on weekends.I'm guessing WotC got at least some cash from Lanasa, but there's no way to know how much.  But we also have to assume that Lanasa's finiancial planning right now is also taking his possible divorce into account.  Proceedings in that won't happen until next May/June (and, we should remember, there is always the possibility of reconcilliation).  IANAL, but I think it's fair to say those issues get amazingly messy.  I'm guessing Lanasa would be highly incentivized to deal with WotC as much as possible before any divorce happens instead of after.  Having lower assets to show when going to divorce court means less assets to split.</blockquote>
