Bite or stone.

BTW, is there a reason the claw is the primary attack rather than the bite? This differs from its cousin, the bulette. Just curious.

no real reason. :) when I convert a monster, I usually just leave the attacks in the same order they were listed in on the old attack line, unless there is a good reason to change it. In this case, I don't know if it matters. I can always switch them - it's not too late. ;)

and similar monsters don't always have to be stuck with what their "cousins" have. :p

Gotcha. I'm fine either way, although the bite would seem to make more sense, since it attacks like a shark. Plus, the bite does more damage. ;)

there's no real Str bonus to figure in though, so the damage is not amazingly different. in fact, with two claws at a +6 attack bonus, and the bite at +1, hitting with two claws will do more damage (4d6+2) than the bite (3d6+1) :)

true, true. but then, not everything i do makes sense. and maybe they will change it in the editing anyway. ;)

The following paragraph is kinda clunky:

The gohlbrorn is a smaller, more intelligent relative of the bulette that hunts in packs. A gohlbrorn pack will roam the Underdark, preferring areas near large populations of easy prey. The strongest member of the pack acts as the leader, though all members of a pack are valued equally; the whole pack will band together to defend new eggs, and older gohlbrorn are supported by younger members when they are too frail to hunt.

Suggested rewrite:

Same goes for this one:

A gohlbrorn’s intelligence, cunning, and ability to coordinate attacks makes a pack of them very dangerous. They will tunnel ahead, and conceal themselves using their natural camouflage to observe prey. Gohlbrorn are highly organized combatants, and will attack the most powerful foe first, and dive back into their tunnels to regroup while their opponents are disoriented. They do not fight to the death, and will flee when faced with overwhelming odds.

Minor typo below: change "a" to "an".

Immunity to Blinding (Ex): A gohlbrorn has a inner eyelid that filters all light brighter than candlelight, which prevents it from being blinded by magical or natural light.
