From personal experience, the best way to get a good response to an open call on EN World is to (a) Put it in the Open Calls forum (maybe a mod could help with that, please?), and (b) to present your call in a professional, coherant way that actually makes sense and provides or links to all the information someone would need to understand what you're talking about.

Oh, and try spelling "writers" right.

Whilst we're on that, some punctuation wouldn't go amiss.

And whilst orange is indeed a very cool colour, maybe a smaller, less vibrant font would stop people sueing for loss of sight when they read this thread.

Right; it's not a lack of compassion to your plight, it's just a really bad first impression. Including the total lack of capitalization and punctuation, I count over 30 spelling and grammar mistakes in that short post. That doesn't really promote a professional image.

This is a shame, because that web site is really cool.

In any case, I'll slide this over to Open Call.

When someone "open calls" for "fellow wrighters," it is generally considered helpful to follow some set of standards - grammar, punctuation, and capitalization are good for starters. I was not trying to be mean nor lack compassion but realistically your post is something of a negative advertisement, like saying "don't come to our website."

My suggestion? Find an editor and have them put your post in order. Use the basic rules of writing and start a new thread. You will have much better luck attracting others if you appear to speak english. Simple typos are a way of life on the net and everybody can overlook them but your post looks like it was made by a child.

I wish you luck on your endevor.

Piratecat, thanks for backing me up and for moving this out of the way.

Haloronin - Good luck with your open call!

Forgive me i'm dislexic, and alredy poor at english in the first place.

Just to cover the bases.
the W.G. is more of a "just getting started" thing for new artists and writers to get togeather.
In the guild meeting the previous to the night that the original post was made, Andy requested to everybody "try to attract a few new artists/writers" so I looked up all the forums I could find and clicked on the on I thought was pretty.

^took three hours to fix to this level I thank you (all) for your time. and patience

links to important things:
the W.G. archives this is where our peoples art and writing come togeather
