Can anyone direct me to a place where I may find information on the aforementioned subject?

As you probably gathered from Banshee16's post ( and following the link ), The Great Modron March is the title of a module, specifically a 2E Planescape module. That would undoubtedly be the best resource for learning about the "Modron March" which occurs accross all the planes of the great wheel every millenium.

What specifically would you like to know about the planar phenomenon? I and/or others could probably dig out our copies, or blow off the cobwebs from our memories to help you out a bit.

The March itself is an Outer Planar event. Once every Grand Cycle (289 years), the modrons march around the Outer Planes, sometimes clockwise, sometimes counterclockwise. The speculation is that this is an information-gathering event, but no on is sure.

The last Modron March occured out of sequence due to interference, murder, and subterfuge at the highest level of modron society. More of that can be found in the 2E Planescape product The Great Modron March.

Be sure to check the Manual of the Planes web enhancement for more on the modrons. It has a full section on their March.

No, but I can guarantee that you'll find absolutely nothing about it here.

Bastard. You just made me cry, you know that? Cry!

*sniffle*

By way of background, I tried to use this adventure about eight years ago. My players hung out for the first encounter before shrugging and saying "There's a lot of people. One of them will figure out why the modrons are marching early." And they turned around and headed home.

But I'm not bitter. Oh, no. Not one bit.

I thought it was a hilarious link. Btw, shouldn't you be working on an update instead of surfing the web? Shoo, off you go, back to work.

I'm sorry, PC. There, there, wipe the tears from your eyes. I mean eye. Darn. Sorry, PC.

And they turned around and headed home.
Did they at least reimburse you for the cost of the module?

You can purchase it from here:

Good module. But more than that, it's a precursor to Dead Gods, one of the best D&D modules ever produced.

Actually, I would recommend purchasing it from rpgnow, instead.

A while back I purchased some Planescape ESDs from svgames, and they were dreadfully scanned. They could be read on-screen if you didn't mind a headache, but printing them yielded an unreadable mess. About 8 months later I purchased some of the same books in pdf format from rpgnow, and they're beautiful. Heck, many of them are even bookmarked.
